With a brace from Sulaimon and goals from Ehis, Mahmood and Kelvin SSFC blitz past Aladin to revive their hopes of promotion to 1A.
SSFC wasted no time in getting into their stride as Mahmood gave them the lead within 15 minutes. Tolu played a through ball from the left side which caught Aladin off guard. Mahmood reacted and turned the ball into the top corner.
Aladin were stunned, and it got worse a few minutes later. Fans had only just got back into their seats when Sulaimon doubled SSFC's lead. One of the Aladin players casually gave the ball away in the midfield. A quick break followed with Sulaimon smashing the ball past Fadi Tuqan. It was a flying start from the home side while Aladin struggled.
Despite staying ahead, the Stars were in no mood to sit back. Ehis intercepted a loose past from the goalkeeper and slotted home the third goal of the half for the men in Orange.
There was high quality action as the game continued at the start of the second half. Aladin came out trying to fire themselves back into the game.Top goal scorer Abdul raced forward, taking on the SSFC defenders, but saw his finish saved by five star goalkeeper Erhomu.
The Stars continued to stretch Aladin and they added another as Kelvin slid the ball under Fadi. It was a comfortable win for the home side, who now sit 8 points off pace.
